my first official wedding
yes, i am now able to say i have shot a wedding! i had the fabulous honor to second shoot for my amazing friend & photographer nicki smith, and got quite a few just beautiful images. the couple was very calm and easy-going. the whole energy of the event was just happy and relaxed. i completely forgot about being nervous and just enjoyed being there while capturing the day for them. i even ended up helping do the bride's hair (i'm the oldest of 4 girls and let me tell you, i can work hair), helped decorate the tables, and in the midst of the action, i pulled a sand spur from nicki's foot. it reminded me of kelly ripa in those whirlpool commericals where she does the laundry, hosts the party, throws the kids juice and snacks, all while being perfect and glamourous. ha! i love that commercial. so, stop me from rambling and back to the wedding. aside from being quite windy & chilly, it really was so gorgeous out there at pensacola beach. here are some pics i'd like to share with you....

so sweet!
what super sweet sisters! i just love how they all love each other so much :) this family is actually very near and dear to my heart - their littlest girl is my alissa's "best friend" and my avery just loves her too. and i've known mommy & daddy for YEARS now, i mean, since my first year of college... which i won't disclose the year right now, but we'll just say it was quite a few years ago. (yikes) so, i had so much fun laughing and playing with these girls out at pensacola beach. i'm pretty sure they had a blast too :)

Such a doll baby!
Look at this little cutie-patootie!!! From the moment I met her she stole my heart... she really is the sweetest, happiest, cutest little miss thing EVER. Those big blue eyes and yummy baby cheeks are irresistable! And what a little princess... her mommy has got style :) Just check these out... I really have no idea which is my favorite....

Pensacola Beach Adorable!
This was their first time out to the beach, and they could not stop exploring and experiencing the sand and the water and the shells and the sand and more sand... and how ADORABLE were they! The girls jumped and giggled at the water, they collected all kinds of shells, and little baby was happy in mommy's arms, or the little towel :) He wasn't too keen on feeling that weird sandy feeling on his soft chubby legs. But, oh, how I was so happy to capture all of these moments....

Downtown Pensacola has never been more FABULOUS
From their smiley happy faces to their silly craziness... I love these kids and have so much fun taking their pictures! And look at all of the fun places we found here in downtown Pensacola to shoot. We had an absolute blast exploring and adventuring down the streets - you can't help but have fun hanging out with 5 kids :) Especially when they ALL want to hold your hand and fight over walking next to you and sitting by you and are so sad when you leave :) They are just such special kids to me. And many ask about how Abby is... you can see she is looking beautiful and getting back to her old self. If you aren't familiar with her story you can find out here.
Special, special kids. I'm sad when I leave them too.
